अमर बेल(Cuscuta reflexa Roxb.):

It is about a vine that is rich in medicinal properties. This vine is found on top of trees and is yellow in color. This vine is so powerful that it does not even allow trees to flourish. Also, it pulls all the nutritious elements of the tree inside it. But it is very beneficial for us. Because this vine eliminates the diseases that grow in the human body from the root. Amar Bel is not in the soil, that is why it is also called Akash Bel. Amar Bel is found in deep yellow-green color. Amar Bel has a special place in the Ayurveda world. Let's know its benefits. Amar bel is capable of increasing the height of children rapidly. Take out 1 teaspoon of juice of Amar bel and mix it in milk and give it to children of low height, it increases the length of children. Amar Bel is capable of destroying stomach worms of children.

Amarbel is a twining parasite and makes a tangled mass covering the host plants. Traditionally it is called a miracle plant. Cuscuta reflexa roxb.  properties of the plant are used to cure various diseases. These medicinal properties of the plant are due to the active phytoconstituents of the plants. The parasitic weed plant Cuscuta reflexa has been studied for the identification of its pharmacological activities. Various chemicals have been isolated from this miracle plant having therapeutic potential and possessing ethnomedical and pharmacological activities. It contains important chemicals like cuscutin, cuscutalin, bergenin, kaempferol, amarbelin and sterol glycosides, etc. Diverse pharmacological studies have been reported such as anti-inflammatory, cytotoxic, antipyretic, hepatoprotective, anticonvulsant, nematicide, anti-androgenic, hypocholesterolaemia, antiandrogenic, hemolytic, diuretic, dermatigenic, immunostimulant, antiarthritic, antiasthma and anticancer activities. 

Uses:

Amarbel strengthen hair, effective in mental (manasa dosha), for placenta removal, it is a traditional medicine (the placenta detaches from the uterine wall after childbirth), and is effective in stomach disorders (Gas-Bloating, Udar-shool-stomach ache), piles, reduces the size of hydrocele, Yoni Prakshalan (for purification of vegina), Joint pain and swelling also associated with gout, Effective in treating symptoms of Khujli, Skin disorders (urticaria etc.), Local application for fever, cancer, Diabetic mellites, Strengthen bone and help in bone mineralization, Enhance immune system and protect against the virus, quite helpful in vision oriented eye problems and reduces the stress of eyes, help growth of height among children.
